DIRECTIONS: 1. Wrap your yarn around your hand about 60 times. Then, cut the string.
2. Next, cut your string about 5 inches long.
3. This step is a little hard, but take the piece of string you just cut and thread it through the yarn you wrapped around your hand and tie a knot. (I know it sounds weird, but you'll see what I mean in the picture.)
4. Then, cut all the yarn that is opposite the knot you tied in the previous step. (Again, I know it sounds confusing.)
5. Trim the tassel so that the yarn looks more even.
6. Next, using a different color of yarn, cut as many pieces of yarn as you need. (For instance, since I made 8 tassels, I cut 8 pieces of yarn.) You can cut these pieces of yarn about 5 inches long.
7. Also, cut a piece of yarn that is going to be used for the string that your tassels are attached to. 8. Then, using one of the 5 inch pieces of yarn you just cut, tie your tassel to the string.
9. Make more tassels and tie them to the piece of string. Then, hang up your string and enjoy the decor!
