This is a calendar that you can just keep on your desk at home and always know what the date is! It not only is easy to make, but it's really helpful, and super cute too! SUPPLIES: - rectangular wooden block - paint (any color) - 4 nails - paper (construction or cardstock) -hammer DIRECTIONS: 1) Paint your piece of wood so that it is completely covered. (Mine took 2 coats.) Let this dry.
2) Hammer the nails into the wood so that they're evenly spaced apart.
3) Take your paper, and cut it into 27 rectangles as shown below.
4) Hole punch each rectangle.
5) Sort them into piles having 12 in the first pile, 4 in the second, 12 in the third, and 2 in the fourth.
7) Put the piles on the separate nails, and you are done! Don't forget to set your calendar to the right date! I couldn't help myself, so I made 2! (I also put washi-tape on the border the calendar.) This is what they should look like when you are finished:
These super cute calendars are useful for just simply knowing what the date is! The first group of numbers are for the month, the second and the third are for the day, and the last one is for the year! (So, as an example, the pictures above say that the date is 8-24-17.)
